what is flourish?

Flourish is a non-profit, community development corporation, based in Springfield, Missouri. We partner with local community services organizations, churches, government agencies and local businesses to make difference in our local community.

Our Mission

Following Jesus, Flourish STANDS with neighbors in need, pursues HEALING through relationships of reconciliation, and INVESTS in economic and leadership development.

Our Vision

As a new community development corporation, based out of Springfield, Missouri, Flourish will endeavor to reach new people and new places, coming alongside and working in such a way that those who encounter it will declare, we love our lives, our neighborhood, our neighbors!

Leadership

The Flourish leadership team includes an active board as well as staff who focus on operating specific programs.

Wayne Thompson

Executive Director

Wayne leads Flourish as the Executive Director. In this role, he provides organizational leadership in developing programs, strategic business partnerships, fundraising and outreach plans.

PROGRAM Director

Camille leads Flourish as the Program Director. In this role, she connects people with Flourish programs including Jobs for Life, the Coach House, Boundaries classes and much more.
