Flourish seeks a program director to be a leading presence, encourager, and connector for all Flourish Community Development Corporation programs. The program director must have a strong faith and conviction for serving WITH our neighbors in need, investing in forsaken communities, and the ability to encourage others.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Program Management
● Lead and manage implementation of current Flourish community programs: Coach House, Life Change, Faith and Finances, and our Food Pantry
● Establish program objectives consistent with Flourish’s goals and mission
● Work with program participants to establish individualized goals for success
● Collect data and prepare reports as needed for funding sources and other projects
● Continually evaluate programs to ensure best practices and outcomes
● Assist with development of new programs based on the needs of the community Flourish serves including school partnerships, community gardens, educational opportunities, social enterprises and more
● Ensure quality of day-to-day programs and/or activities

Volunteer Management
● Serve as recruiter, trainer, and encourager to all Flourish volunteers/mentors
● Plan and implement various trainings for volunteers
● Engage volunteers
● Maintain data on volunteer activities/hours and all other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications
● Professional degree or experience in social services
● Visionary with passion for helping others
● Ability to make changes and solve problems quickly and under pressure
● Ability to identify, recruit, equip and lead paid and unpaid staff to excel
● Ability to identify and establish necessary boundaries
● Effective written and verbal communication skills
